The opportunity
Join our team as a Tree Care Coordinator, where you'll lead a dedicated group of arborists to ensure the efficient delivery of tree-care services across the shire. You'll play a vital role in developing sustainable strategies aligned with council's objectives and enhancing our processes.
Make a Difference
- by determining staffing needs and responsibilities for tree-care processes.
- providing guidance and development to a team of qualified arborists.
- developing and implementing long-term sustainable strategies for tree population management.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and manage emergency response plans.
- overseeing contracts for tree maintenance and manage budget performance.
- Offering strategic advice for arboriculture services' development.
What you’ll bring
- Diploma in Arboriculture with local government experience.
- Proven ability in risk assessment, contract oversight, and strategy development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Data analysis proficiency and attention to detail.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
