With the opening of our new Flagship store in Moorabbin, we are looking for passionate hospitality professionals to join our growing team. Our brand new purpose-built kitchen and bakery will service our 120 seat cafe, gelato shop, retail patisserie & bakery, and our wholesale customer base which includes some of the best cafes in Melbourne.
Customers will get a full view of the chefs and bakers rolling croissants and pulling fresh bread out of the ovens. We look forward to sharing this unique hospitality experience with our team, customers, and the local community.
The opportunity
We are currently seeking a supervisor to aid in the daily operations of our flagship venue in Moorabbin. Reporting to the venue manager you will work alongside our senior team to help deliver professional and efficient service across our 120 seater venue.
Key facets of the role:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the business
- Training & development of junior team members
- Responsible for managing shifts and leading your team to deliver high-quality service to guests
- Managing opening & closing procedures
- Ensuring all business requirements are set
- What skills and knowledge do I need?
- Proven experience running a cafe service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- History of developing staff, and leading a team
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience with speciality coffee is an advantage for this role
