Role Details:
Reporting to the Senior Assistant: Geology, you will be responsible for assisting the core processing team to facilitate optimum production for underground operations with a direct focus on processing diamond drill core samples at the New Holland Core Shed.

This role is offered on a permanent basis on a 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

About the role:
Working in the Core Shed performing the following duties:
Interact with the Senior Geology Assistant and Mining teams to ensure that daily work activities are fully planned and coordinated to ensure effective delivery;
Complete all tasks associated with the diamond drill core processing workflow;
Complete accurate data entry of geological information;
Complete all tasks associated with the daily sample dispatch services to the assay laboratory.
About you:
Completion of Year 12 secondary school education
Be able to be on your feet for most of the day
Previous experience in a Geology Assistant role is highly desirable
Experience in database applications is desirable although not essential
Current manual C Class driver's licence
High Risk Forklift ticket is essential
