Salary range: $61,633.00 - $65,473.20 Pro rata dependent on skills, qualifications and experience

Opportunity:
The City of Albany’s Corporate and Commercial Services Team is looking for a professional and versatile individual to take up the role of Corporate and Commercial Services Administration Officer.
Reporting to the PA Executive Director Corporate and Commercial Services, this role will see you responsible for providing administrative support to Corporate and Commercial Services teams as required. This includes, but is not limited to;
- Providing courteous, and professional advice to both internal and external customers.
- Drafting letters and emails as required.
- Preparing minutes and agendas for meetings.
- Assisting with arranging events and activities.
- Assisting with the updating of organisational documents including forms, policies and procedures, as well as data entry tasks.
- Creating, maintaining and storing records as per the City’s record management procedures.
About You:
Essential to this role are highly developed time management and computer skills, excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work independently. Well-developed multi-tasking and time management techniques as well as organisation and administration skills are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will also need the ability to be flexible and move between roles, tasks, and be capable of offering support to multiple teams. Previous experience in the compilation of agendas, bulletins and minutes for committee meetings is required. Local government knowledge or knowledge relating to procurement, payroll, rates or financial processes would be highly desirable.
