We are currently seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join our dynamic and high-performing team in our Fortitude Valley office.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the execution of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and other strategic initiatives.
- Conducting market research and analysis on the mining sector and potential opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Developing financial models and valuation scenarios for various projects and transactions.
- Preparing presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with internal and external parties such as business units, legal, finance, tax, and advisors.
This role is offered on a Monday to Friday basis with the ability to work from home up to two days per week.

- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Graduates from the Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics program in the University of Queensland, or similar, highly regarded.
- No experience necessary, but a keen interest and willingness to learn about the mining industry and Corporate Development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills as well as excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience at an investment bank highly regarded.
- Available to commence as soon as possible.
