Purpose of the Team
The Commercial Finance team provide business partnering and commercial support to ensure that EnergyAustralia delivers maximum value from our resources. This includes setting annual targets, building financial plans and forecasts, defining and monitoring key metrics and providing insights and support to help drive performance and evaluate key decisions for the business.
Purpose of the Role
In this permanent opportunity, you will provide high quality financial and operational management reporting to ensure delivery of EnergyAustralia's strategic plan. This will also be a great role for you to demonstrate your ability for future leadership, by providing 2IC support to the Reporting Leader. Key deliverables of this role include;
- Producing management reporting including balanced scorecard, variance analysis and business unit performance reporting
- Supporting the annual financial planning process and ongoing forecasting process including the capital plan, cash flow and balance sheet, and presentation preparation
- Undertaking market analysis and investor reporting
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a CA/ CPA qualified with a track record in providing quality management reporting. You thrive in a highly collaborative and results orientated team with a culture of being proud of the quality and consistency of work delivered across a matrix organisation. You will be relied on for your;
- Strong data analytical skills as well as exposure to building robust operational & financial models
- Highly self-motivated, proactive and willing approach and your desire to contribute in a team environment
- Ability to understand, analyse and explain complex concepts
- Ability to build effective relationships, influence and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve support and deliver desired outcomes
- Ability to prioritise, undertake multiple concurrent tasks and meet demanding reporting deadlines
