This role is pivotal in shaping organisational performance at City of Darwin. You will work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver on strategic and corporate performance reporting, building capacity to support effective governance. Your efforts will ensure that City of Darwin continues to meet our strategic objectives and deliver for our community.
As the Corporate Planning and Reporting Officer, you will:
Annual and Municipal Plan production: Coordinate the development and production of City of Darwin's annual report and municipal plan.
Monitor and evaluate: Track progress against plans, addressing deviations and emerging issues.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports to leadership teams and Council, highlighting achievements, challenges, and progress.
Risk management integration: Collaborate with risk management specialists to integrate risk assessments into planning.
Systems management: Lead and administer systems and processes for City of Darwin corporate performance and compliance, including playing a leadership role in the administration of the broader Camms suite, including educating and advising staff.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Strong understanding of strategic planning frameworks and methodologies and the ability to ensure this knowledge translates into strategic and operational plans.
- Proven track record of leading and facilitating the development and implementation of strategic plans, encompassing both long-term vision and annual operationalisation.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating progress against plans, adjusting as needed, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Well-developed understanding of risk management principles and frameworks, ability to integrate risk assessments into strategic and operational planning.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, fostering collaboration and building relationships across all levels of the health service.
