The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative individual to lead the development, implementation and embedding of resilience into Council policies, plans, project management and practices to ensure a holistic, ongoing organisational approach to resilience in decision making and project delivery. This role will be responsible for sharing with our community what resilience means for Council and how it will be implemented.
As Corporate Resilience Coordinator, you will define, develop and embed resilience into Council policies, plans, project management and practices to ensure a holistic, ongoing organisational approach in decision making and project implementation. You willl produce and disseminate progress updates and reports as well as engage in wide-ranging consultation and negotiation with all relevant stakeholders to develop and embed appropriate and effective resilience strategies in policies and plans of Council.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a tertiary level qualification or substantial experience in a discipline relevant to this position.
You will have the following skills and experience;
Highly effective communication, community consultation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated business planning, policy development and project management experience.
Experience working for Local Government in related roles.
Benefits
This is a grant funded fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of 18 months.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $109,200.52 gross per annum, comprising of:
$1,891.90 per week base salary
$208.11 per week superannuation (calculated at 11%)
