The Role
Reporting to the Lead, you will work regularly with the Executive Team and Leaders to develop holistic knowledge and align strategic direction and initiatives towards GPC’s 2050 corporate vision.
Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships across the business, other government, private entities, and the broader community.
This is a Monday to Friday permanent role that requires the individual to live in the Gladstone Area. Relocation packages can be offered for the right applicant.
- Develop and continuously refine GPC’s strategic & Business Planning frameworks;
- Liaise with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Leaders to ensure strategic & planning outputs
- Support the ELT to set out deliverables relating to the Statement of Corporate Intent (SCI) and Corporate Plan to ensure delivery in accordance with approved budgets and commitments
- Leverage collaborative relationships with departmental leads to coordinate inputs to corporate documents, including but not limited to Annual Report; Corporate Plan, SCI and 50 Year Vision;
- Facilitate delivery of reports for CEO through liaison through relevant stakeholders and/or internal business partners
- Prepare and present key strategic initiatives, performance trends, and areas for improvement across business functions
- Tertiary qualification in business management or a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience in government relations, corporate planning, or business improvement is seen as highly beneficial
- A passion and drive to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders with differing needs and priorities to establish objectives and deliver favourable outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and articulate information, influence and build repour with a wide variety of audiences
- Ability to develop, refine, and execute long-term strategic business initiatives in alignment with the company's vision
- Proven strategic thinking to identify, analyse, and articulate future trends and challenges to influence the direction of business decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor, review and continuously improve reporting functions and frameworks
