Corporate Tax Manager

T+O+M Executive have partnered with a Global Bank to recruit an exciting Corporate Tax Manager position.

• $140k - $160k Base + Super!

Overview of the Role:

• Ensure accurate and timely filings of the Group's income tax returns and indirect tax filings obligations (e.g. GST/VAT, FBT etc.)
• Ensure proper documentations, including workpapers, are prepared to support any filings lodged by the Group with revenue authorities;
• Assist with month-end and quarterly tax reconciliations, as well as supporting and managing the tax risk register and tax controls
• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax development and ensure they are communicated to the Head of Tax;
• Participate in the training and development of the tax function.
• Support ongoing processes improvements;
• Support the Head of Tax and wider Finance team with any audits and/or projects relevant to the Group's tax functions;

Your Background:

• CA or CPA, or other equivalent qualification
• 4-5 years of work experience in tax, gained in either Big 4, mid-tier professional services firm or a corporate tax environment
• Strong technical knowledge and good international tax research skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with different business functions
• Team player mindset with a can-do attitude
