Cost Controller

Downer's Industrial and Energy team have an opportunity for a ResidentialCost Controllerto join their team based Wollongong, NSW. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this role will primarily be responsible for assisting with reports and cost control functions.

ABOUT YOU

• Preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment, Cost Reports;
• Management of subcontract and material procurement schedules;
• Assist with reconciling of budget reports;
• Check and update purchase Order values in all cost reports;
• The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts;
• Contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers;
• Coordinate with Accounts and Procurement team to ensure inventory stock numbers are accurately reported;
• Take responsibility for time-critical cost reporting; and
• Analyse weekly Financial reports and provide insights on variances to the leadership team

To be successful you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or Extensive experience;
• Experience in Cost Control ideally gained within the Mining Industry;
• High attention to detail, information process and problem solving capability;
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
• High levels of motivation and excellent time management and organisational skills; and
• A flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands within the business.
