Form of workThis role is suited to a passionate farmer with an eye for detail, and extensive experience in all aspects of cotton and grain production.
It’s a Full-Time, Permanent position, and you will be working alongside our existing enthusiastic team, under guidance of our Operations Manager. Enjoy being part of a smaller team, where your individual efforts are recognised.

Knowledge and previous involvement in all general row-crop production steps, from pre-plant field prep and equipment maintenance, to planting, crop irrigation and spraying, through to harvest and beyond is crucial.
We operate modern (mostly JD) equipment on 4 meter CTF with Greenstar GPS. We have the ability and the equipment to conduct our own earthworks, transport our own commodities and harvest all of our own crops.
Please note, while this is a “general” farmhand role, previous flood irrigation experience is required, and legitimate self-propelled sprayer experience is highly regarded. Metal fabrication and repair ability is also highly desirable.
We do require that you:
- Be punctual and reliable
- Show ability to work politely and efficiently, in both a team environment, and when working independently
- Willingness to listen and retain information given from management to achieve desired outcomes
- Willingness to learn new processes and skills
- Able to carry out manual/physical tasks when required
- Current, open manual drivers license (Minimum)
You would be based on 1 of our 4 farms (all within a 10km radius) in a modern, A/c 4 bedroom plus office home (on rainwater), with large fully fenced yard (with good outside water) and 2 car garage, provided at no cost to you. School buses readily available to all the great Dalby Primary and Secondary schools. Dalby is approx 20 mins drive, and has all the necessary shops. Approx 1hr 15min to Toowoomba, 3hrs to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast; make the most of the sunny and beautiful Darling Downs. Work ute provided along with very competitive remuneration package ($85k - $100k salary plus super for weekdays, Hourly rate plus super on Weekends), based on experience. Very stable and long-term position for the right person.
