Counsellor - Team Lead

Our impactful programs include Family and Relationship Services (FaRS), Crime Victims Counselling (CVC), EAP Counselling, Children & Parenting, and the Elders Visiting Program.
 
Key Responsibilities:
As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading an integrated team and ensuring the highest standards in direct service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing triage, assessment, and allocation of counseling and group work participants.
• Leading and supporting an integrated team for high-quality case work and services.
• Ensuring data integrity through accurate entry and regular audits of client sessions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining professional relationships, and representing the orginisation in a professional manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a managerial role with a focus on direct service delivery.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly in family therapy.
• Knowledge of Child Protection policies and procedures.
• Ability to establish and maintain collaborative networks with government and community-based agencies.
• Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to working within our culture and values framework.
