This client is currently seeking skilled and passionate Forklift drivers to join their fast operating, quality team. Situated in Nambour.
The position entails more than just operating a forklift for loading and unloading trucks in the yard. The company is willing to train on specific attachments ("a frame") used to pick up rows of six crates wide by 5 crates high, moving crates for palletizing, and organizing stacks. Safety regulations must be strictly followed throughout these operations.
This role demands flexibility in terms of working different shifts, as it may require shift work. Availability across all shifts is essential, considering that working hours can range from an average of 24 hours a week!
Pay starting at $38 per hour!!
To be successful within this role, you will require the below attributes.
- Must have a valid forklift ticket, with proven counterbalance experience.
- Willing to work in Cold room
- Hold a valid driver license and have own reliable transportation.
- Adhere to all oh&s rules
- Prior loading/unloading experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet
- Must be reliable with a can do attitude
- Ability to grasp new concepts rapidly
- Previous HAACP experience is an advantage
