About The Role
Direct Image provides delivery and collection services as part of our operation to facilitate the ongoing requirements of our loyal client base. This includes time sensitive deliveries of jobs, and the collection of materials and stock for our workshop on a regular basis
The opportunity for employment as our full time Courier/Delivery Professional is currently available to the right candidate with previous relevant experience
A safe, reliable, efficient and well presented individual familiar with meeting frequent firm and/or short targets is required for the role
Once familiar with the role and workplace, the chosen candidate will be responsible for managing their daily schedule of deliveries and collections to meet the expectations of our clients and workplace
The role is one that strongly represents the business, so the ability to build a rapport with our clients and suppliers is necessary
This position within Direct Image is one of high importance to our everyday workflow, and the right candidate will be provided with secure, long term employment
A company van is provided during business operating hours
Candidates Must
- Have current valid Australian Driver's License (Manual)
- Provide evidence of no recent major driving offences (Traffic Infringement Notice Record)
- Be confident driving a large commercial van
- Be familiar with local roadways and traffic rules
- Be physically fit, being able to lift heavy (25kg+) and/or large items and being able to load and unload on their own where necessary
Additional Advantages
- Ability to work outside of regular operating hours where required (minimal overtime)
- License to operate a forklift is advantageous but not necessary
- Previous experience in the signage and/or print industry is advantageous but not necessary
Business operating hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and Fridays 6.00 am - 3.00 pm
