Crane OperatorGlencore’s McArthur River Mine (MRM) is a world-class zinc-lead mine with a long future. You’ll find our mine in the Gulf of Carpentaria 900 km southeast of Darwin and 64 km from Borroloola. We produce and process zinc, lead and silver from our open cut mine. It is then stored and transported to our Bing Bong loading facility and shipped to our customers worldwide. Our customers use our essential commodities in everyday products for mobility, infrastructure and communications.About the role:To provide qualified Operational Crane Services to the Maintenance Department by means of Operating all Mobile Cranes on Site.Accountabilities:

• Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate lifting operations.
• Follow project plans and specifications to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of lifts and equipment maintenance.

Successful applicant will have:

• Valid open Crane Operator certification/license.
• Working at Heights ticket
• High Risk EWP ticket
• MR or HR Licence
• Proven experience operating various types of cranes, 20T Fanner – 200T Slew Crane.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality and efficiency.
