Having recently celebrated our 17th year in business, we are in a rapid growth mode, expanding to 20+ locations over the next 15 years. Due to an increase in demand for our high-quality training, we are seeking a motivated Casual Crane Operator to join our Perth team on a flexible basis.
About the role
This role will report to the Operations Manager in Belmont. The key focus for this role will be the safe and efficient operation of a 10T mobile slewing crane within our learning and training environment, supporting the development and education of aspiring dogging and rigging students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing their expertise and contributing to the growth of others.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Pre-start inspection of crane
- Re-fuelling of crane
- Operate crane safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with our High-Risk trainers and their students
- Flexible working arrangements min 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday)
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for working with learners, trainers, and industry stakeholders. The workplace-based training will be at our Belmont based facility - Tuesday to Thursday each week. This may vary subject to unforeseen factors such as the weather, discipline, and experience level of the learners etc.
Mandatory Requirements:
To be considered for the role, you will have:
- Minimum C2 crane licence
- Industry experience a bonus but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude, team player
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Willingness to adhere to high safety standards.
