Our team of CSSD technicians are highly respected within the hospital and well regarded for their delivery of quality and accurate service. You will be joining a team who cares about the work that they do who are led by an authentic and caring leadership team.Reporting to the CSSD Co-ordinator you will be responsible for:
- Working within a positive team environment that is fast paced and responsive to change;
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with AS/NZS 4187;
- Understanding all aspects within the CSSD environment;
- Maintaining full compliance within the CSSD department;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Ability to use initiative and to be proactive within the CSSD.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the CSSD setting is desirable
- Has achieved Certificate III in Sterilisation Services
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with healthcare consumers in a professional and confident manner
- Has an understanding of Perioperative terminology
