The Opportunity
Join our team located in WA within the shire of Busselton and help us transform the lives of patients globally. As part of our knowledgeable Cultivation team, you will cultivate pharmaceutical-grade cannabis flower. You will be a hands-on team player maintaining plant health and harvesting raw materials for refining and packaging by our on-site Production team.
This is a full-time role based on a 9 day fortnight.
The Company
Little Green Pharma is a leading global medicinal cannabis business with key production assets in Australia and Denmark (EU). To date, our success has been driven by our first-mover status – we were the first Australian producer and exporter of cannabis medicines – and our rapid, early entry into key global markets. Our operations are vertically integrated, extending from cultivation and production to manufacturing and distribution.
The Day-to-day
- Maintain the health of plants, including adjustments to water, pH, water run-off, light spectrum, nutrients, salts
- Harvest, trim and de-leaf plants
- Develop skills, competencies and understanding of the cultivation of cannabis plants
- As required record all plant activity, from strain, seed, germination, plant growth, trimming, harvest and plant health
- Comply with all record-keeping SOP’s and processes
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Compliance with our quality policies, standard operating procedures, documentation and management systems
About You
- Are physically fit and enjoy a solid day’s work on your feet.
- Preferably have experience in horticulture, viticulture or nursery work
- Have good attention to detail
- Can demonstrate experience following standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Bring a positive attitude and are a team player
- Able to pass pre employment and random drug and alcohol screens
- Provide a national police clearance (within 3 months) or willing to obtain
- Current COVID-19 Vaccinations
