The Opportunity
Seeking a highly skilled HPE Teacher with leadership experience and advanced curriculum knowledge to commence in Term 3 of 2024 to lead our Prep to Year 12 academic programs.
The role involves supporting staff, actively monitoring, and coaching to embed excellent teaching practices. This role will be required to carry out a teaching load.
The Curriculum Coordinator - HPE assists and supports the Chief Learning Officer, Heads of Secondary and Primary, and Heads of Faculty in raising the standards of achievements for all groups of students across Prep to Year 12.
Selection Criteria
- Current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply)
- Holding academic qualifications in keeping with the level of responsibility
- A visionary approach to curriculum
- Demonstrated effective skills in administration, interpersonal relations, planning, and programming
- Demonstrated ability to lead staff
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyse problems and formulate clear and effective solutions
- Relevant or related experience as a leader
