About the Role
The Curriculum Design Assistant supports the review, development, and improvement of curriculum, assessment and/or digital content and structure. This role is crucial for assisting in the enhancement of educational materials across curriculum, assessment, and digital learning environments, providing support wherever necessary to ensure the delivery of high-quality and impactful education. This role will be working with Curriculum Renewal project and will perform tasks as needed within the Curriculum Renewal Working group.
About You
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma (equivalent to at least 3 years full-time study in duration)
Recognised TESOL qualifications and experience
Considerable TESOL teaching experience in similar university language centre setting
Demonstrated experience in writing, editing, or reviewing EAP curriculum and/or assessment content
Demonstrated knowledge of current ELT curriculum and assessment development principles and contemporary practice
A commitment to quality language education and an understanding of contemporary approaches to teaching and learning that underpin English language programs
Expertise and resourcefulness in knowing and sourcing appropriate materials to support the learning needs of English language learners within a university English language program.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage a varying workload and respond to changing priorities as required
