Hammond Park Secondary College (SC) is seeking a motivated and focussed Curriculum Support Officer to join their collaborative team.
The Curriculum Support Officer will provide administrative, reporting, and timetabling support to the Principal, Deputy Principals and teaching staff. They will maintain and monitor a range of administrative and curriculum related databases to ensure integrity of school data, extract and generate reports, and provide data to the school administration team to enhance school operations.
High level Information Computer Technology (ICT) skills, including the ability to use spreadsheets to manipulate data, and relevant knowledge, understanding and experience of Integris, Compass and Reporting to Parents (RTP) will all be highly regarded. Supporting timetable maintenance within Integris will be a key element of this role.
The Curriculum Support Officer will coordinate and support a range of internal and external processes. The complex nature of the role will ideally require the successful applicant to be a hardworking individual, with highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The successful applicant should have exceptional organisational and time management skills and the ability to effectively work autonomously as required.
Located in Hammond Park on Irvine Parade, the college opened in 2020 to Year 7 Students. The college buildings include state of the art classrooms, a library, administration, and extensive student services area. The college also features specialist facilities for performing and visual arts, science laboratories, food and textiles, design and technology workshops and a gymnasium. The cafeteria is the hub of the central precinct and provides indoor and outdoor seating, landscaped gardens and open spaces. Multipurpose courts and oval were also included in the first stage of the build.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

Eligibility and training requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter;
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement;
