My client is a privately owned Australian enterprise that focuses on the distribution and assistance of diagnostics and research solutions within the Australian and New Zealand regions.The Role
- Oversee inwards and outwards goods functions in line with company procedures
- Provide support and back-up across the full department of operations and Customer Care.
- Must have an understanding of all processes from start to finish.
- Provide back-up in processing of incoming and outgoing goods
- Maintain the company ERP software with current internal and external customer information.
- Ensure the processes for special requests, standing orders, special prices, replacement goods and other non-standard procedures are functional and efficient
- Receive and handle customer enquiries and complaints
- Process all Field Service Reports and associated paperwork
- Ensure all Customer Care team members are trained and proficient in their roles and work collaboratively
- Support the financial controller in the accounts receivable functions
- Oversee and negotiate pricing with freight forwarders and couriers
- Ensure currency of MSDS for goods kept in the Warehouse
- Attend training sessions, trade shows and other company business that may require evening/weekend attendance
- Follow all necessary instructions to enable the Quality Assurance Program
- Identify and record any non-conformance
- Recommend action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformance
- Advise the Quality Assurance Manager of any issues regarding Quality
- Sound computer skills in CRM and Microsoft Office Software
- 5+ years office support experience
- Skills in accounts receivable and accounts reconciliation
- High degree of organisational abilities
- High level of empathy
- Detail and action oriented
