About the role
As a Customer & Contractor Field Manager, you will oversee contractor operations including the selection, onboarding and management of Service Providers that support Origin Zero’s business activities. You will engage and manage relationships with contractors such as Electricians to perform Renewable Energy installation and maintenance activities and will monitor contractor licensing, industry training and inductions.
Reporting to the Group Leader of Customer & Contractor Field Operations, you may act as the technical nominee for electrical installations, implement HSE and quality assurance systems, processes, audit activities and manage reporting of our contractor base to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, legislation, codes of practice and Origin directives.

• Oversee contractor operations for Renewable Energy services, ensuring compliance and safety standards.
• Conduct quality assurance activities for high standards in installation and maintenance
• Investigate, report and action incidents to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• Support day to day field operations activities to meet performance and cost targets
• Providing technical expertise for electrical installations
• Select, train and manage trade related Technicians and Sub-Contractors

What will you bring?

• Experience in a similar trade role managing contractors.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical installation practices across residential, commercial and industrial industries
• A Grade Electrical Licence and Driver’s License required
• Valid CEC Accreditation in Solar and Battery systems
• Confident communicator both written and verbal
