Maitland City Council are seeking experienced Customer Experience Agents to join our team on a temporary basis.
- 1 x temporary 12-month full time
- 1 x temporary 6-month full time
Both positions are available on a full-time basis however, part time options will be considered for the right candidate/s.
About the Opportunity
As one of Council's Customer Experience Agents, you will deliver an effective and efficient Customer Experience to a range of internal and external stakeholders. Working in a fast-paced environment, our Customer Experience Agents are experts in Council's diverse services and functions and are the first point of contact for customers across digital channels, telephone, and face to face. In addition to providing timely and accurate information to customers, our Customer Experience Agents undertake daily administration and financial duties. Recognising the importance of exceptional Customer Experience, our Agents approach all customer enquiries with resourcefulness, empathy, proficiency, and a commitment to making things easy for all stakeholders.
The role operates on a rotating roster between Monday-Friday across a span of hours between 8am-6pm.
About You
We are seeking applications from experienced Customer Experience Agents that are 100% customer orientated, passionate, positive, and have a commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a relevant Certificate IV qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant contemporary experience. Your superior communication skills and show initiative will ensure you are confident delivering customer service across a range of platforms. Experience using an automated telephone platform to handle a high volume of customer enquires is essential.
You will have the demonstrated ability to be open minded, solutions focused and be highly resilient in dealing with challenging conversations and behaviours. Most importantly, your effective time management, refined attention to detail and solutions focused attitude will mean you hit the ground running as a Customer Experience superstar.
Benefits
Working full time, 35 hours per week, the salary range is from $68,669 - $83,502 per annum based on demonstrated competencies + super (pro rata for part time/under 12-month arrangements).
