Scoot Boot is a manufacturer and global exporter of the most advanced horse (equine) hoof boot on the market. Hoof boots are a relatively new product and replace metal shoes as a better way to protect horse's hooves.
Scoot Boot was established in 2015 with the mission to offer better animal welfare, hoof protection and support to the barefoot horse by providing a superior range of products. We innovate, educate and inspire others in all that they do.
After dynamic and massive growth both here in Australia and in international markets we now wish to take the brand and products to the next level. To help us grow our business, we need a full time customer service professional to join our team in Cambridge, Tasmania.

About the role:Your role will involve answering customer enquiries via email, phone, web chat and social media. You will field a range of queries about Scoot Boots, how to size hooves for the correct fit (liaising with the Sizing Team), questions about our range of products and accessories and questions about customer and stockist orders. You will also be responsible for processing returned products. You need to be organised and calm as our work environment can be very busy and chaotic at times!
An intermediate to advanced knowledge of computers is essential for this role as you will need to use several different programs and platforms as part of the role.
Your hours will be Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility for the right candidate. Once fully trained, you will also have the option to work from home for part of the working week. This can be discussed in more detail as part of the interview process.
Your duties will include- Opening and closing of the office
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries
- Maintain customer records using our systems and platforms
- Outbound campaigns, as required
- General assistance to the Scoot Team
MUST HAVES
- Previous customer service experience
- Experience in multiple software platforms
- Effective communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and a flexible approach
- Experience with horses preferred
