A fulltime opportunity exists for an adaptable team player to join our Bidfood Supply Solutions team at Yatala.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the Bidfood branch network over the phone and via email in addition to performing other administrative tasks and reports. This role is fulltime with hour’s 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, flexibility is required.
Duties:
- Processing of branch orders efficiently and accurately
- Respond to customer queries via email and telephone in a professional and timely manner
- Provide product education, availability of products and substitute products
- Booking of freight
- Work co-operatively across a busy team environment
- Liaise with purchasing, sales and warehouse teams to provide information or resolve issues
- Provide general administrative tasks and reporting with an emphasis on accuracy
Skills and Experience:
- Confident phone manner and excellent communication skills
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi task
- Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Excellent computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Sales experience and an understanding of the foodservice/meat industry or an allied industry would be an advantage
