Customer Service/ Administration Officer

Job Summary:

Due to continuous growth, we currently have an opportunity at our Edinburgh South Australia Branch for a Customer Service / Administration Officer professional to join our dynamic team.  This role is full time, reporting to the SA Operations Manager.

Tilling Timber is one of Australia’s largest timber importers and wholesalers.  A privately held company, Tilling Timber was established in 1963 by the present owners.  Tilling has branches in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide with an appetite for further expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional service to our valued customers via telephone, email and in person
• Processing sales orders and quotations via our ERP systems with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Liaising with the broader business to best service our customers’ needs
• Promote Tilling Timber’s range of products
• Provide active support to sales and operations teams
• General office administration duties, filing, ordering consumables, raising purchase orders
• Assist with general housekeeping.
• Key support to the team of sales & operations

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service environment.
• A customer service superstar
• Self-motivated with a passion for success.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach.
• An effective communicator, both verbally and written.
• Highly organised with great time management and prioritisation skills.
• Well-developed IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications.
