Worldwide North Ryde is an established Franchisee within the Worldwide Printing franchise group. We are a successful professional small business looking for an energetic person to undertake an combined Customer Service, graphics Design and Digital Print Production role to support our growing business. We provide Digital, Offset and Large Format Printing, Promotional Products along with an Online Print Management solution.
Whilst the role is varied in nature it is expected to involve a time allocation of 20% Customer Service, 20% to Graphic Design, 20% to prepress and 40% on inhouse Digital Print Production.
Here’s what the position entails
• Responding to customer enquires across a variety of platforms including phone, email and website.
• Taking client artwork briefs – face to face and over the phone.
• Design of business marketing materials including business cards, brochures, flyers and company documents for both small and large businesses.
• Undertaking variable data merges using Microsoft Excel and Adobe Creative Suite for personalised print.
• Checking client supplied files are print ready, proofed and amended if required.
• Imposing files for internal printing.
• Operate the digital production equipment to produce final printed output.
• Pack printed materials for dispatch to clients.
• Using our Quote & Print estimating software to produce quotes, job tickets and invoices to clients. Training provided.
• Supporting marketing initiatives of the business.
The skills and expertise we are looking for are
• A Customer Service background would be desirable
• Competent to high level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat Pro (Windows based)
• Ability to design creatively within brand guidelines
• An understanding of the print process and creating print ready artwork
• Strong time management, organisational and multitasking skills
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• A long term goal to be able to run the centre and share in profits
This experience as a minimum
• Experience in dealing with clients over the phone and in person
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat Pro
• Ability to work on your own without supervision
