Customer Service / Operations Officer (Permanent part time)

• Monday to Friday 5pm to 10pm
• Immediate start available
• Based in Riverstone
Roadmaster is at the forefront of refrigerated trucking and is continuing to grow and expand its delivery network. As a result of an internal move, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to fill this new role.
This is a combined role, focusing on both Customer Service and supporting our Operations team with their daily requirements.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Ensure a high level of Customer Service by -
- Responding to customer queries by email or phone
- Following up on ETA’s of deliveries and pickups
- Notify of Delays
- Debreif drivers paperwork
- Coordinate any changes to bookings
- Liaise between Operations and customers
- Communicate with warehouse staff regarding stock
- Assist Operations with daily coordination of freight and drivers
- Investigating and reporting on all discrepancies
- All general administration
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role (Customer Service or operations preferred but not essential)
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Strong work ethic and willing to learn
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Punctual, neat and tidy
