The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business as a Customer Service Representative at our Albury (Lavington) location. in our Albury team as a Customer Service Representative. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

Our supportive, customer-focused team at Lysaght has a passion for service and team interaction, they represent the face of the business. In this role, you will bring your experience and willingness to learn in order to support the team. You will interact and manage internal and external customer enquiries and relationships.   As a self-motivated, quick thinker, you quickly adapt and can juggle more than one task at any given time.

Our branch is open 7.30am to 5.00pm -we can offer flexible start and finish times between the span of 7.30am and 5.30pm to suit your lifestyle (7.6 hour workday).    

You'll be part of our targeted Customer Service onboarding program - you'll get the right training from Day 1 - we are invested in seeing you succeed! 

What Will You Do?

This role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. In addition to general sales and Customer Service duties, you will:

  • interact with customers, and manage those relationships and enquiries either via phone and/or email
  • collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
  • prepare and follow up on customer quotes, whilst supporting our sales teams
  • providing internal support and regular feedback to our sales teams with customer and competitor information 
  • resolve issues and seek ways to improve the customer’s experience
  • ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and systems updated accordingly
