CommBank’s Retail Operations business is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Everyday Banking Operations function to be responsible for the end-to-end home lending settlement process. The wider Everyday Banking Operations team is responsible for the production, fulfilment and maintenance of credit card, personal loans and home loan applications on behalf of our customers.The Role.
You will be join an operations team focussed on ensuring compliance to our home-loan process which enables us to meet and exceed our customers’ expectationsYou will partner with lenders & branch staff and collaborate with back-office teams to facilitate the end-to-end home loan journey including post-settlements, discharges and aftercare for our Northern Territory customers. Our team plays a critical role in the final stage of our customer’s home loan journey and beyond, support customers nationwide.On any given day you will:
- Providing superior levels of internal and external Customer Service by responding to, managing and resolving customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints and issues
- Undertaking investigations in respect to customer requests and/or as a result of transactional or exception based issues
- Applying sound risk management practices by identifying and responding to business risks
- Processing transactions within agreed turnaround times and consistent accuracy in a high volume environment
Some understanding of a retail banking operations environment or direct Home-loan processing knowledge. You will be comfortable managing stakeholder expectations across the entire home-loan settlement operations process and will have previous experience keeping customers or clients up to date on their application.You will also have:
- Prior experience in a home-loan product or process environment or extensive Customer Service experience (including retail or hospitality leaders)
- Exposure to the lending process would be highly advantageous (but not essential)
- Able to work in a deadline driven environment
- Strong attention to details and strong organisational skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
