The Customer Service Trainer is responsible for the delivery of theory and practical training to new and existing employees and is a subject matter expert for key clients and operational areas within the airport port.
The primary focus of the role is to deliver engaging and effective training programs that are aligned with approved operating procedures, processes and policies and that meet the quality standards set out by Swissport and our clients.
Trainers play an important role in developing front line team members in our airports, enabling our organisation to meet both current and anticipated operational capability requirements and equipping our people with the knowledge and skills they need to deliver safe, efficient and effective operational outcomes for our clients.
We will have a range of roles for trainers, both as a primary or secondary function to Customer Service operations, so you may perform the role you train.
It is essential that you have:
- Previous Workplace Trainer or Facilitation skills and experience
- Sound understanding of WH&S responsibilities and how these are applicable to a training environment
- Experience in accurately completing and maintaining complex records and documentation
- Experience developing others through coaching and/or buddying
And highly desirable to have the following experience:
- Extensive operational knowledge and experience of the Customer Service Operations and/or client operating procedures, equipment, systems and manuals for the training you would be delivering
- Working knowledge of Swissport and client training packages and systems
