About The Role:
Bendigo Kangan Institute is one of Victoria's largest TAFE providers. As a Koorie Tutor, you will be responsible for providing specialized mentoring and tutoring to both individuals and groups of Koorie students, aiding them in achieving the necessary competencies within non-Koorie specific education programs.

We are excited about you because you have:
- You have completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or hold a formal qualification in Adult Education have a strong understanding of Indigenous culture and identity;
- be culturally competent;
- have experience working in and with Indigenous communities (preferably local communities);
- have a sound working knowledge and capability strategies to address learning issues that Indigenous students may encounter such as potentially past negative education experience;
- maintain broad knowledge of local Indigenous community issues and model culturally sensitive behaviours and values.
