FRG Technology Consulting is hiring in collaboration with our client who are a fast growing AgTech company! Our client is on the lookout for a Customer Support Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are a venture backed company with global ambition. There AgTech robots are already being used by many customers and they are going through a phase of explosive growth.
If you are a university graduate (e.g. Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering degree etc) OR come from a trade background (electrical, mechanical, refrigeration etc) you could be a great match for this role!
Role & Responsibilities
- Answering customer calls to resolve their issues / provide technical support (e.g. robot isn't working properly - working out what needs fixing, pulling up logs and solving the problem)
- Understanding if root of cause of robot issues is hardware (field service problem) or software related
- Following and creating documentation
- Working with software team to explain software issues and suggest improvements after understanding customer requirements
- Using Linux and looking at system logs
Skills & Qualifications
- Problem solving mentality and natural ability for fixing technical problems
- Understanding in some of the following areas: Electronics, Electrical systems, mechanical, mechatronics, mobile machine maintenance, Python (programming language) CAN bus
