Description

• Utilise your extensive Customs Brokerage expertise to oversee and optimise customs procedures effectively.
• Take charge of customs clearance operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient flow of customs processes.
• Lead and supervise a team, initially consisting of two dedicated professionals, with a strategic vision of expansion in the near term.
• Maintain unwavering adherence to stringent transport safety requirements, encompassing Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Basic Fatigue Management (BFM), loading regulations, and Oracle systems.
• Foster robust vendor relationships and streamline procurement processes to maximise cost-effectiveness and uphold quality standards.
• Demonstrate strategic prowess by formulating and executing customs operational strategies that align seamlessly with overarching company objectives.

Profile

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

• A minimum of 5 years of Customs Brokerage experience.
• Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in Customs Brokerage and logistics operations.
• Proven leadership skills, allowing for effective team management.
• Familiarity with transport safety requirements, including CoR, BFM, and loading regulations.
• Previous experience in vendor and procurement management.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities to drive customs operational improvements.
