Leveraging their extensive industry expertise and network, the company continually adapts to evolving market trends and regulatory requirements, providing tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.The PositionThey are looking to employ an experienced Customs Broker that has their own personal Customs Licence.Working the Botany Head Office and also with a Work from Home facet and reporting directly into the General Manager you will be responsible for applying customs requirements to both ocean and air freight movement for the business' customers.On an average day you will:

• Ensuring compliance with all Government Acts, regulations and ABF, AQIS
• Maintaining the day-to-day customs clearance functions
• Prepare customs documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws
• Accurate customs declaration information
• Participation in regular internal audits and associated reporting
• Liaising efficiently and effectively with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Attending to client enquiries relating to tariff classification of goods
• Managing the documentation flow
• Applying for tariff concessions
• Building a team of classifiers and compliers

The PackageIf you are the right person for the role, then this company will offer:

• A salary of $120k - $140k pa
• Company phone and laptop

The CandidateThis job would suit a candidate that has a current and up-to-date Customs Broker Licence and has experience in the Australian freight forwarding industry.The ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:

• Must have a Customs Broker Licence
• Quarantine Experience or accreditation
• ICS Experience
• Freight Forwarding qualification
• Management experience
• Customer Care focus and strong communication skills
