Joining the Melbourne team you will be working alongside a group of new and experienced Customs staff in addition to a broader team with a strong focus on quality and process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Classification of goods, working with a compiling team and brokers
- Quarantine lodgements
- Pre and post shipment support for clients with customs or quarantine specific enquiries
- Paying Customs Fees
- Prepare Tariff Advices when required
- Process applications for Tariff Advices, duty drawbacks and refunds
- Assist with import requirements and consultation with customers
- Prepare IFIP permissions where required
To be considered for the role the candidate should possess strong communication skills, understand nomenclature and have a willingness to assist customers and the team with their enquiries.
Brokers in Training or those who are currently studying and planning to sit the brokers exams in the future are also welcome to apply.
