DFP Recruitment is urgently seeking experienced Cyber Technical Analysts to work closely with one of our larger Federal Government clients on a contract basis. This client helps to manage Australia's natural resources, includes business activities engaged in growing crops, raising animals, growing and harvesting timber, and harvesting fish and other animals from farms or their natural habitats.
Essential Skills:- Strong experience conducting security risk assessments covering Azure Cloud, Legacy ICT systems and applications within a Governance Risk and Compliance role.
- Experience in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system integration designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
- Liaising with non-technical and technical stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues, system risks and recommendations.
- Presenting risk assessments and findings to senior executive audience.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve the security posture of the department's environment.
- Demonstrated they have implemented Essential Eight in other Government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, in particular around technical assessments.
Technical Skills
- Providing technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs in relation to security architecture best practices.
- Experience in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system integration designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
- Implementing Essential Eight in other Government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
Job Capabilities
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Has sound judgement and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision to produce high quality outcomes.
- Awareness of and ability to anticipate and communicate the impacts of security risks.
- Ability to articulate and document technical security artifacts.
