• Estimated rates for the Cyber Security Analysts roles are $60-$110 per hour inclusive of superannuation
• Estimated rates for the Cyber Security Engineers are $110-$140 per hour inclusive of superannuation.

Role and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for Cyber SecurityAnalysts and Engineers may vary but generally include the following: 

Cyber Security Analysts:

• Incident response.
• Monitoring and configuring security tools.
• Threat and vulnerability analysis.
• Threat hunting for escalated incidents.
• Collaborate and partner with relevant teams to drive successful Cyber Security initiatives.

Cyber Security Engineers:

• Planning, implementing and managing security measures for the protection of data, systems and networks.
• Troubleshooting security and network issues.
• Support the day-to-day maintenance and uplift activities, primarily via the administration and configuration of security toolsets.
• Defining, implementing, and enforcing security policies and best practices.
• Collaborate and partner with relevant teams to drive successful Cyber Security initiatives.

Skills and Experience: 
The skills and experience you will be ideally required to possess include the following for each role:

Cyber Security Analyst:

• Tertiary qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology or relevant industry certifications / experience (CISM, CISSP, CISA).
• Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall and intrusion detection systems).
• Experience securing a range of enterprise grade technologies, including cloud solutions (desirable)
• Experience using ICT security applications such as a SIEM (e.g. Arcsight, Splunk) (desirable)

Cyber Security Engineer:

• Tertiary qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology or relevant industry certifications / experience (CISM, CISSP, CISA)
• Experience securing a range of enterprise grade technologies, including cloud solutions.
• Experience in the implementation (systems engineering), maintenance (system administration) and effectiveness of security infrastructure and security solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to provide expert security advice, develop quality Cyber Security controls, processes and policies.
• Experience using ICT security applications such as a SIEM (e.g. Arcsight, Splunk) (desirable)

Working Arrangements:  
Most of these roles are based in Canberra, ACT. However, we also offer opportunities across Australia, including remote and hybrid working arrangements. We welcome candidates from all locations to apply.
