Your New Role:
- Uplift the Security and respond to emerging security threats impacting Australian Unity and our customers.
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents, and coordinating a cohesive response involving multiple teams across Australian Unity.
- Providing support during customer-facing incidents, proactively considering the prevention of similar incidents from occurring in the future.
- Assisting in secure development of pragmatic solutions that achieve business requirements while maintaining an acceptable level of risk.
- Communicating effectively with varying audiences at multiple levels of sensitivity.
- Building and improving on existing security tools and utilities (particularly within Australian Unity SIEM), enabling your team to operate at the pace and scale of Australain Unity and improving overall Cyber Security posture.
- Identifying and recommending solutions that improve or expand Australian Unity's incident response capabilities.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of current security trends and advisories to Australian Unity and coordinating response (e.g. patching, configuration changes etc) as necessary across affected business and technical teams.
- Participating in efforts to promote security throughout Australian Unity.
- Take the end-to-end ownership of Cyber Security Incident Lifecycle.
- Author and/or contribute to security related standards, process and procdure.
- Participating in on-call rotation.
About You:
- Strong Cyber Security experience with Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM), Security Orchestration and Automated Response (SOAR) and/or Splunk.
- Deliver quality services
- Experience in large enterprise environment
- Minimum IT Security related experience
- A proven record of successfully scoping, shaping and delivering sound IT Security Solutions.
- Deep technical skills (plan, build and run) across a broad range of infrastructure and Security technologies
- IT Security related certification
