Our Security business is focused on protecting our client's people, information, property, and reputation. We do this through a comprehensive approach to security planning, whether Cyber Security, physical security, or counter-terrorism.
Our Cyber Security team provides wide range of services including Cyber Security governance, design, engineering, assurance, verification and validation to critical infrastructure clients.
This Cyber Security role is a crucial member of our security team, with a strong technical focus and an acumen to develop our design packages and delivery project to support our leadership and client teams in achieving their Cyber Security objectives and deliverables. These include developing infrastructure delivery programs, design and architect systems, conducting project risk workshops, contributing towards realising multi-year Cyber Security roadmaps, and achieving compliance with regulatory and legislative standards and other technical requirements for OT environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and implement comprehensive infrastructure designs for the clients’ OT environments.
- Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of technical Cyber Security controls to achieve compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards.
- Create software architectures for system design and delivery.
- Manage, configure and maintain server infrastructure (i.e., HP/Dell) and/or virtualised environments (i.e., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Configure and manage network infrastructure of various technology such as Moxa, Cisco IE, Extreme switches and Routers.
- Implementation and delivery of disaster recovery and backup mechanism such as Veeam.
- Implementation and delivery of server hardening, SOEs on infrastructure and Access Control Lists on network devices.
- Lead, design and deliver technology selection and project planning.
- Work closely with OT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and operational staff to contribute to the security design, implementation, and support of OT networked systems.
- Assist with development of Cyber Security plans, policies, procedures, reports, and standards related to the OT environment.
- Participate in Cyber Security threat and risk assessment workshops
- Assist in project planning and coordination activities, ensuring that project requirements are met within budget and timeline constraints.
- Support client relationships and contribute to business development efforts by fostering new client relationships.
- Work closely with the Lead Consultant in delivering specific components of larger projects.
- Grow and develop skills while contributing to the success of the team and projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 5 years of infrastructure experience with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in an OT environment, with a preference for experience in the critical infrastructure sector.
- A deep understanding of industrial control systems and experience in IT system engineering, infrastructure design, and implementation.
- Proficiency and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft/Unix technologies, VMware virtualization, and network systems.
- Solid experience in network configuration and management, including Layer 2/3 and/or MPLS technology.
- Experience or familiarity with operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) cybersecurity solutions and technologies is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience or familiarity with industry standard Vulnerability Management, SIEM, IDS, NMS, EDR, and IAM software and platforms.
- Knowledge of security engineering principles, various cybersecurity assessment methodologies, security control implementation, validation, and system life-cycle practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams, demonstrating excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience in supporting business development efforts within the cybersecurity field, including cultivating client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to the growth of cybersecurity services.
- Product Specific Industry Standard Certification such as VMware, RedHat, CompTIA Linux+, Microsoft, CCNA, Palo Alto Networks or cybersecurity-related certifications is preferred.
- Cybersecurity certification is preferred
- Holding a security clearance is preferred, and applicants must be either Australian citizens/resident or possess an eligible visa
- Transport experience is preferred but also experiences in other sectors such as Oil&Gas, power, telecom and water can be considered
