The Cyber Security Sales Specialist is a pivotal role within Nexon, tasked with driving and delivering sales, revenue, and growth objectives specifically within the Cyber Security domain. Recognized for their deep expertise in Cyber Security technologies and their application benefits, the Cyber Security Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in understanding, communicating, and recommending best practices to both new and existing customer accounts across Mid-market, Commercial, Large Enterprise, and Government Segments.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Relationship Building: Establish and build strong relationships within the Cyber Security technology domain, engaging with customers, consultants, alliances, vendors, and partners.
  • Specialist Sales Support: Act as a specialist sales overlay, supporting Account Managers and Business Development Managers (BDMs) within a collaborative sales team structure.
  • Sales Performance: Drive and achieve sales performance targets, focusing on Cyber Security solutions that incorporate software, hardware, and professional and managed services. Maintain a robust pipeline of incremental opportunities.
  • Solution Development: Lead and guide Account Management and BDM teams in identifying solution opportunities, overseeing the solution definition, design, proposal, and closure processes.
  • Client Engagement: Develop relationships with client decision-makers through networking, leveraging existing contacts to grow and maintain the client base.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in planning approaches and pitches, developing proposals that address client/customer needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Orchestrate cross-functional teams, including solution architects, advisory, professional, and managed services teams, to develop comprehensive commercial solutions and offerings for Nexon customers.
  • Vendor/Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with sales and channel leads within the Nexon vendor/partner ecosystem.
  • Market Engagement: Communicate Nexonu0027s Cyber Security capabilities through participation in webinars, trade shows, customer round table events, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Training & Development: Support and contribute to sales enablement programs, maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge and certifications.
Key Relationships:
  • Internal: Collaborates with Solution Architects, Advisory team members, Professional & Managed Services teams, and the broader sales team.
  • External: Engages with Nexonu0027s vendor/partner ecosystem to develop and deliver Cyber Security solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a Cyber Security-related field (preferred but not essential).
  • 10+ years of experience in selling complex solutions (SaaS and Enterprise Software highly regarded).
  • 3- 5 years experience within the Cyber Security domain.
  • Experience selling professional and managed services.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and performance metrics.
Knowledge:
  • Sound understanding of Cyber Security industry governance, policies, and legislation.
  • Familiarity with the Cyber Security vendor ecosystem.
