As a Senior Consultant, you will report to the Senior Manager and play a vital role in leading and developing our audit services team.

If you are a driven professional with excellent leadership abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional audit services, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

About AssuranceLab

In 2017, AssuranceLab rapidly emerged as a dependable tech-enabled audit firm trusted by startups, tech unicorns and large global companies worldwide. We assist clients in achieving a variety of compliance certifications. Our objective when founding AssuranceLab was to develop a new and better way of conducting audits. Our mission is to promote trust, growth, and better company practices with audits.

We do audits differently. Our in-house built Pillar platform and innovative audit process removes the typical audit headaches for our team and our clients. Our tech-driven approach allows us to work remotely, flexibly, and manage audit clients in 12 countries around the world from our Australian base. AssuranceLab was founded to meet the modern world's trust requirements, which include adhering to global cybersecurity standards, the privacy rights of consumers, and expanding our footprint in environmental, social, and governance (ESG).

We're on a path of expansion, having doubled our team size in the last year, and we invite you to join us on our journey. We're a fully distributed team and we encourage candidates from all locations in Australia to apply for this remote position.

About the Role

Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing and managing a range of audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and clients' objectives. You will collaborate with clients, addressing their audit and regulatory requirements, and provide strategic advice on process improvements and best practices. • Using your effective project management and work prioritisation skills, manage and lead client engagements.
  • Apply problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities to identify and suggest new process improvements for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Independently prioritise own workload, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.

  • Build strong client relationships, fostering trust and confidence in AssuranceLab's services without significant support.
  • Design and execute proactive, customer-centric client communications independently, ensuring effective and timely updates and information sharing.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities by leading and coaching consultants, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and development.
  • Embody AssuranceLab values, promoting and upholding the company's culture in all interactions and engagements.

We would love you to have

  • Regular travel opportunities to collaborate with your team, including twice-yearly off-site events to meet in person.

How to apply

We value each and every candidate who expresses interest in our roles, and we would love to personally contact everyone. However, please understand that our hiring team is small and we have limited capacity to personally respond to every application. If you are a good fit for the position, you will hear from us to set up a 15-minute intro call to learn more about you and confirm your interest.

After the phone screen, our interview process involves a 45-minute interview with the hiring team via Google Meet. If you are not successful following this initial interview, you'll receive feedback on the reasons why you've not progressed. The final step in our recruitment process is a further discussion with some of our team members and co-founders to confirm your suitability. From there, we will discuss your job offer, pending reference checks.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We think having a diverse and inclusive workforce is crucial, and we value every voice that adds to our team. We actively work towards eliminating any unconscious bias in our recruitment process because we believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to join us.

We want to make sure our hiring process is accessible to everyone. If you have a medical condition or disability and need any reasonable accommodations during the application process, please shoot us an email at bradley @ assurancelab.com.au and let us know what you need.

If you think you'd fit right in with us, we'd love to hear from you!
