About the Business - Office of the Chief Information Officer - Cyber Security Directorate

Role Details
The Senior Cyber Security Advisor, Risk and Assurance is responsible for the provision of specialist advice and expertise to stakeholders across the department and government agencies. The role will deliver Cyber Security policy, assurance and risk advisory, and third party risk management functions across government, including working with key stakeholders in the government Cyber Security community, third parties and related functional areas.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside normal hours possibly at very short notice may be required.
- Work within a confidential, commercially orientated and at times politically sensitive environment.
- OCIO fulfils the role of Control Agency for Cyber Crisis on behalf of the DPC. The role may be required to participate in Control Agency responsibilities subject to appropriate training and induction.
- Applicants will be required to undergo the appropriate and relevant Employment Screening Assessment(s) required for this role in line with the DPC Employment Screening Policy.
- This role requires:
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Security Clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1) or be eligible to obtain.
Essential Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology or other relevant field, and / or relevant security training and certifications.

Salary Range
$97,022 - $102,626 p.a.
