About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Systems Administrator to lead and perform system administration on RedHat and Microsoft systems using SCCM, satellite and Microsoft Group Policy. And lead engagements with the development team to provide system administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
Provides Level 1 to Level 3 support during problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problem.
Isolates and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the infrastructure and different tenants.
Troubleshoots, maintain integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Communicate with relevant stakeholders such as developers, users to assist in troubleshooting, identifying root cause and to provide technical support when required.
Installs/loads operating system and application software.
Backup, disaster recovery, endpoint protection, system upgrades, planning and implementation.
Manage Data backup and restoration.
Build productive relationships with the team to achieve the outcomes.
Responsible for PKI and certificate refreshes.

Selection Criteria:Essential:
Bachelor's Degree in IT related Discipline
2+ years of demonstrated experience working as a System Administrator
Extensive knowledge with Key cloak.
Extensive experience with VMWare (ESXi, vSphere, vRealizeOperations, Workspace One).
Desirable:
Australian Government, Defence, or Defence Industry experience
Experience using with Jira and Confluence
Experience working in an agile software development environment.
Experience with DevOps pipeline and optimizing code.
Experience with CompTIA Security+
Experience with SANS SEC 401
Experience with RHCSA (EX200) MCSA
Active Security+ certification or other applicable certifications
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
To be eligible for employment for this role, you must be an Australian citizen with a current NV1 Security Clearance.
