D365 Crm Senior Tester / Test Lead

An Australian Government Body, is seeking the services of a talented Senior CRM Tester or Test Lead to join their growing team.
The role is open to applicants with valid Australian Baseline Clearances (Australian Citizens) and offering a 12 month contract based in Canberra/ Remote across Australia.

We are seeking experienced and motivated Manual Testers to:

• Design, develop, and run manual scripts for testing multiple application products inc websites, web apps and services
• Apply Agile development principles to testing
• Design, implement, and execute regression/end-to-end and functional tests for target applications
• Complete integration, acceptance and performance testing, depending on the application or platform
• Assist in planning, documentation and preparation for testing approaches
• Assist in writing and executing manual test scripts
• Produce high quality, meaningful reports and recommendations from testing results
• Apply test techniques and processes for the planning, design, preparation and execution of tests
• Utilise Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) to track and manage activities
• Continually improve regression testing capacity through assisting with the creation of automated tests
• Derive maximum operational efficiency and effectiveness through innovative testing practices such as automating the regression and contributing to test process improvement
• Be able to work closely with the project teams to ensure that requirements are well understood and that the solutions delivered meet business objectives
• Effective collaboration with a cross-functional team working with an agile structure - including a product owner, scrum master, business analysts, UI developers, architect & testers to produce a solution in accordance with user and stakeholder requirements and broader divisional objectives
• Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholder; internal and external to the department (as required).

Key Selection Criteria
Essential criteria
1. Hands on experience with functional testing, Integration testing and regression testing.
2. Solid understanding of testing principles and techniques.
3. Strong communication and collaboration skills interfacing with key project stakeholders.
4. The ability to perform, collaborate and deliver ICT solutions within an agile team.
5. Experience with DevOps/TFS for test planning and defect management.
Desirable criteria
1. The successful applicant must have relevant work experience and a range of technical skills. The following would be well regarded:

• experience with using DevOps for tracking testing activities would be advantageous
• Testing of web applications and its integration with Dynamic 365 CRM systems
• Experience with DevOps/TFS for test planning and defect management.
• Hands on experience with functional testing, Integration testing and regression testing.
• Solid understanding of testing principles and techniques
• Strong communication and collaboration skills interfacing with key project stakeholders
• Understanding and experience working with cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Azure DevOps.
• Good knowledge best practices when testing ICT solutions.
• The ability to perform, collaborate and deliver ICT solutions within an agile team.
