Position Overview:
Join a dynamic team as a D365 Power Platform Specialist, and play a crucial role in managing and maintaining Microsoft's (D365) Power Platform, which includes Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Flow), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. The D365 Power Platform Administrator is critical in ensuring the effective and secure use of Power Platform tools within the organisation. You will play a key role in enabling business users to create and automate solutions while maintaining governance and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Environment Management: You will create, configure, and manage environments for development, testing, and production including the development of data protection strategy (Backup). Monitor environment usage and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Governance and Compliance: You will enforce governance policies, including naming conventions and design guidelines. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Security Management: You will define and enforce security policies and access controls. Manage user access and permissions, including roles and data loss prevention policies. Monitor and audit for security compliance.
- App and Flow Lifecycle Management: Oversee the creation, deployment, and lifecycle management of Power Apps and Power Automate flows. Implement version control and release management processes.
- Patch and Update Management: You will ensure that the Power Platform and associated components are kept up to date with the latest patches and updates. Schedule and perform release wave preview testing.
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise app and flow performance. Identify and address bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Experience as an operator of a D365 power environment.
- Experience in data governance practices.
- Understanding of environment management.
- Takes ownership and demonstrates accountability.
- High level written skills with ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience to create patterns and standards to accelerate maturity or practice.
