Aurora Dairies, acting on behalf of Australian Dairy Pastures Pty Ltd (ACN 622830728), are currently seeking multiple Dairy Cattle Farm Workers - Farm Hands in Tasmania.

The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the management team in managing a dairy operation.

The successful candidates will have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas;

• Complete droving – moving cows to shed prior to milking as needed
• Complete milkings in the dairy shed – complete prestart, milking and clean-up
• Effectively work as part of a team, ensuring pace is aligned
• Identify and report equipment not operating as it should and complete general/minor maintenance as required and according to safe operating procedure
• Complete data entry/recording of incidents, miking, machinery and animal health
• Comply with all safe operating procedures and support the safety culture on farm
• Tractor work
• Animal feeding, calf feeding, paddock setup and other general farm tasks.

Desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:

• Minimum of 2 years of dairy industry experience
• Certificate in agriculture an advantage
• Committed to ensuring a safe workplace
• Reliable and punctual
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Team player.
