Lloyds IGA Newtown is looking for an experienced Dairy/Freezer Department Manager to join its team!
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the dairy and freezer departments in this full time, hands on role and for leading your team to continuously achieve the highest possible standards of products, presentation and customer service.
Key accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Completing orders/stock control
- Ensuring the highest possible standard of presentation
- Inventory management and stocktaking
Key skills and experience the successful applicant must have:
- Previous experience in managing a dairy, freezer or perishable department of a supermarket. Or, experience in managing other departments within a supermarket.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with team members at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks
- Well-developed customer service skills
- Smile and have a positive attitude
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be reliable, punctual and motivated
Our store is open 7 days a week so flexibility in the hours and shifts you can work during your 38 hour week (including weekends) is essential.
